On the Upcoming September EiG Expo in Copenhagen

The Expo of iGaming is the largest trade event in the iGaming industry with 1500 industry leaders from over 60 countries to attend this year. There will be presentations from 100 of the world’s iGaming experts on topics including law, regulation, finance, marketing, business strategies and development, fraud, payments and IT.

Important leaders and innovators of online gaming operations will be present from 888.com; Ed Andrewes, MD of Ladbrokes will be speaking along with Mark Blandford, MD of Valhalla Investments and Founder of SportingBet. Henry Birch, CEO of WilliamHill Online will be talking along with Mitch Garber, CEO of Harrah’s Interactive Entertainment. Jim Ryan, CEO of PartyGaming will speak as well as spokespeople from Betfair and Bodog. Other representatives attracted to the event this year include members in governments to law firms, banks, VCs, accounting, consulting firms and media. Representatives will be coming from the National Gaming Commission in Spain, the Ministry of Finance from Sweden and the Ministry of Taxation in Denmark, GPWA associates, as well as others from the Remote Gambling Association and eCOGRA will be speaking. Additional speakers will be represented from all sectors of the iGaming industry from consulting, finance and other legal arenas.

The expo will begin with Clarion Gaming who will be presenting new casino games software that they claim will challenge the existing models of current gaming software. Regulations and global issues will be added conversational pieces.

The following day, on September 16th, the conference will split into three tracks with the first one covering new customers and on keeping current ones. The second track will be about legal issues in a global perspective including the UIGEA movement and the course it is taking. The third tier of exploration at the expo is the marketing aspects of iGaming such as in the social networking protocols of Facebook and Twitter.

The last day will cover two separate issues going on in two different tracks: one will be about product differentiation and branding online casinos in a unique way while the second part will delve into the mobile gaming industry. The lineup of speakers will also include David Yu, CEO of Betfair; Norbert Teufelberger, Co-CEO of bwin; other operators such as Blue Square, PKR, Intertops, Poker Heaven, eGaming 2.0, Probability Games, Paf, Sbobet will all touch upon relevant issues influencing the iGaming business in world today.
